The authorized Investigation Officers of CIABOC have apprehended a Planning Officerattached to the Urban Development Authority, Western Province on 04.04.2018 when obtaining a bribe of Rs.15,000/- reduced from the initially solicited amount of Rs.40,000/- to hand-over the complainant’s file to the planning committee to get approved the allotment plan which previously got the approval for the boundary plan having obtained a bribe of Rs.15,000/- in 03 occasions.

The authorized Investigation Officers of CIABOC have apprehended an Industrial Administrator attached to the Dehiwala - Mt.Lavinia Municipal Council on 28.02.2018 when obtaining a bribe of Rs.4,000/- from the complainant who serves as a Labourer of said Municipal Council, in order to make arrangements to draw his overtime payments for month of January smoothly, without any obstacles.
The authorized Investigation Officers of CIABOC have apprehended the Assistant Superintendent of Police – Wennappuwa, named Gangaharalalage Daya Deshapriya Jayathilaka Bandara on 27.02.2018 in front of a decoy of the Commission when receiving a bribe of Rs.30, 000/- which has been reduced from an originally solicited amount of Rs.40, 000/- payable monthly from a Medical Health Massage Center in Wennappuwa Police Division in order to smoothly run said business without any obstacles.
The Investigation Officers of the CIABOC have apprehended a Time-Keeper attached to the Road Passenger Transport Authority - Eastern Province on 17.01.2018 and Produced before the Magistrate Court – Ampara for obtaining a bribe of Rs.100/- from a bus running Akkarapattu- Batticaloa Route in order to keep the bus stationed in the queue until its turn for the journey and to make arrangements to drive without any obstacles from other running buses.
