On 17.07.2017, a Grama Niladhari attached to the Divisional Secretariat - Kaduwela was taken into custody by the Investigation Officers of CIABOC when obtaining a bribe of Rs.3,000/- solicited from the complainant in order to take necessary arrangements to register the names of the complainant and his wife in the electoral register.

On 11.07.2017, the Investigation Officers of CIABOC have apprehended a Police Sargent of Special Crimes Investigation Branch when obtaining a bribe of Rs.10,000/- solicited from the complainant to abstain from objecting to bail out the complainant at the Magistrate Court when the complainant produced to the court with regard to a complaint said to be received by Special Crimes Investigation Branch against the complainant on a financial fraud.

The Investigation Officers of CIABOC have apprehended a Police Constable of Colombo Division on 05.07.2017 when obtaining a bribe of Rs.20,000/- reduced from the originally solicited amount of Rs.30,000/- to settle a dispute between complainant and a foreign company.

On 03.07.2017, the Investigation Officers of CIABOC have apprehended a Consultant Physician of Kurunegala District Base Hospital and an external Radiographer when obtaining Rs.75,000/- collectively for month of April, May and June 2017 having already obtaining Rs.50,000/- for previous 2 months which had solicited Rs.25,000/- per each month to be paid in order to abstain from rejecting medical reports at Ward No.11 and 15 of the hospital issued by a Medical Laboratory of the complainant situated in front of the Base Hospital.

On 02.06.2017, the Investigation Officers of CIABOC have arrested the Grama Niladhari attached to the Galle Four Gravets Divisional Secretariat when obtaining a bribe of Rs.45,000/- solicited to register the complainant and his wife in the electoral register.

On 18.05.2017, the Investigation Officers of CIABOC have arrested a Colonization Officer attached to the Divisional Secretariat - Ampara when obtaining a bribe of Rs.5,000/- reduced from the originally solicited amount of Rs.10,000/- to make arrangements to the complainant to legally tenure a paddy land which the complainant had enjoyed without permission and subsequently prohibited.

The Investigation Officers of CIABOC have apprehended a Police Constable on 18.05.2017 for soliciting a bribe of Rs.60,000/- reduced from the originally solicited amount of Rs.120,000/- to abstain from taking legal actions against a complaint which said to have received regarding the dissimilarity of chassis number and the engine number of the Lorry owned by the complainant.
