Under the main objective of eliminating bribery and corruption from Sri Lanka, the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption is empowering public officials for the integrity of public service by eradicating bribery and corruption in Sri Lanka;s public institutions. The prevention program in the series of Kandy District had conducted on 25.01.2023, in the Divisional Secretariat of Pasbage Korale. About 350 Divisional Secretariat officials participated in one session of 3 1/2 hours. Corruption Prevention Officer Ms. N. Wimukthi Jayasooriya, Corruption Prevention Officer Mrs. Chamodi Jaysinghe, and Corruption Prevention Officer Mr. Shammi Srilal contributed as resource persons to the lecture.

A Corruption Prevention Programme was conducted on 01st June 2023 for Police Constables promoted to Police Sergeant at the Elpitiya Police Training College, and the programme was conducted with the resource contribution of Prevention Officers, Mrs. J. L. A. Udeshika Madubashani, Mrs. Chamodi Jayasinghe and Police Inspector, Mr. Shantha Wickramarachchi.
On a complaint made by a person in Alawathugoda area, two officers of the Alawathugoda Agrarian Services Center were arrested on 05.06.2023 by the Investigation Officers of the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption.
On a complaint received by the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption, an Inspector of Police assigned to the Police Station, Sapugaskanda was arrested on 02.06.2023 by the Investigation Officers of CIABOC for an alleged solicitation and acceptance of a bribe of Rs.100,000.
A complaint box was installed at the Dehiwala Divisional Secretariat on 19 th May 2023, and the general public will now be able to lodge their complaints here with evidences, either giving their name or anonymously. The Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission (ACRC) of the Republic of Korea has organized an anti-corruption training course for the officials of the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption (CIABOC), Sri Lanka from 15 th to 19 th May 2023.
On 18 th November 2022, officers of CIABOC installed a complaint box at the Department of Inland Revenue Office premises and conducted an awareness programme. The general public will be able to lodge their complaints here with evidences, either giving their name or anonymously.
The Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption conducted a Corruption Prevention Programme at the Department of Inland Revenue on 13th March 2023. Ms. Thanuja Bandara, Assistant Director (Legal), Corruption Prevention Officers, Mrs. Maduka Ruwanthi, Mrs. Chamodi Jayasinghe and Mr. Kamal Jayasekara, Information and Communication Technology Assistant provided the resource contribution.
