On a complaint made by a driver of the SLTB Panadura Depot, Investigation Officers of the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption arrested the Sri Lanka Transport Board (SLTB) Regional Manager of Kalutara for soliciting and accepting a bribe.

The suspect has solicited a bribe of Rs. 15,000 from the complainant for allowing him to engage in duties in a route outside the Panadura Depot premises and the arrest was made at the Panadura SLTB Depot premises while accepting the said bribe.
