The Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption (CIABOC) conducted another important prevention programme on 14.03.2024 for officers of the Urban Development Authority. It marked the beginning of a series of programmes conducted for UDA, an institution which has a staff of nearly 1553 officers. Around 110 higher managerial-level officers attended the first programme and were made aware of the strategies used in preventing bribery and corruption, the importance of prevention in that context, the concept of integrity, and the new Anti-Corruption Act.

Mr. H. M. G. Abeysinghe (OIC -CIABOC), Mr. Shilamega Welithotage (Prevention Officer) and Ms. Nipuni Tennakoon (Prevention Officer) provided the resource contribution to the programme.
